We got pizza by the slice (a pepperoni and a spinach and olive) and it was all good. Some of the slices were hot and others were not. The party pizza (or tomato pie or whatever you want to call it) had a great tomato sauce. We also picked up some Italian bread. The prices were very reasonable. I would definitely return again.
Made the trek in from Connecticut to get my pizza bread levels back up to snuff. My favorite Rhode Island staple with coffee milk a close second! The full shelf worked out very well for our gathering with lunch leftover for Monday at work . Keep it up always amazing!
First time here and very impressed, friendly staff and delicious pizza. Very tasty cheese and flavorful sauce. I got meatball on half. High quality meat. They loaded up a small too. I could only eat half the pizza for lunch. It’s a unique style crust/dough never had anything quite like it. Looks like they sell a lot of calzones ready to go and they had slices of pizza available too. Great value considering the high quality and quantity of ingredients. Look forward to trying more next time I’m in the area.
Food: Tasty! The pepperoni pizza was good, but I personally love the calzones more. Also, if you're lactose intolerant, please note that the Spinach Calzone is not cheese crazy. I was able to eat it without a dairy pill AND they remember to actually season the spinach!!! Prices: I'm terrible at recognizing if pricing is good. It seems appropriate to me? Seating: THERE IS NO SEATING!! This place is 100% take it and go! So don't expect a sit down meal here.
We drive FAR out of our way to hit this particular DePetrillo's bakery. In our opinion (and we have tried all locations MANY times) they have the best chips, strips and general bakery items. Not sure why the food here is so much better. It is though. If you're in PVD, it's worth the extra 20-25 minute drive to Chepachet. Just stay right on RT 44. Also, check out the antique shops and unique stores in Chepachet.
It has such a flavor of freedom you see. Around a month or two ago I was served divorce papers from my wife. And we had tried to work through it and I figured we would patch things up but she surprised me. And on that day I got a few to go pizzas from the bakery cause I was in the area and it truly is the best around. The flavor took me to a place where no woman yells at you for having a beer on a week night or constantly nags me about my secretary who is truly just a platonic coworker. My go to lunch stop and proverbial carbo load station. Cheapest lunch around. Three strips under 3 bucks. Calzones, strombolies, cookies. What more could a growing boy ask for. Ok how about hot baked fresh to order Pizza. None of that greasy mass of dough, you know what I'm talking about...anyway three thumbs up.
I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a meatball pizza. The crust had a nice crisp, and there was a nice sauce to cheese ratio. They make a tang sauce, which I like, but it has a definite tang going on. The young lady who served me was very nice, and she was patient with me and my questions. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.5.
